From the very start, our goal was to create a video that felt as dynamic as the game itself. Hillcrest Academy has a rich tradition of sportsmanship and teamwork, and we wanted to highlight these values in a way that resonated with players, fans, and alumni. Dynamic sports storytelling played a crucial role in making this vision a reality.

• Unique Perspectives: Using a combination of a 70-200mm lens, a 24-70mm lens, a GoPro, and even an iPhone, we captured diverse angles that brought the action to life. From close-ups of players’ expressions to wide shots of the court, every frame was designed to showcase the intensity and excitement of the game.
• Immersive Audio: By micing up the coaches during games and huddles, we captured authentic moments of strategy and encouragement. These audio clips add depth to the video, making viewers feel as though they’re right there on the sidelines.
• Fast-Paced Action: Basketball moves quickly, and filming it comes with its own set of challenges. Gym lighting and the rapid pace of the game were obstacles we had to overcome. We spent time practicing with the JV team to understand the rhythm of the game and ensure we didn’t miss a moment.
